Chantal warrants that all moving parts of your teakettle - the tuning plate and lid have no defects in material or manufacture that will render them unserviceable during the one-year period beginning on the date of purchase by the first user. Chantal warrants that the non-moving parts of your teakettle have no defects in material or manufacture that will render them unserviceable during the five-year period beginning on the date of purchase by the first user. For warranty coverage, you must present your receipt to prove date of purchase. This warranty does NOT cover (1) ordinary wear and tear (such as scratches, dents or stains to the stainless steel or enamel's external or internal surfaces that do not impair the functional utility of the product), (2) non functionality of the whistle for reasons other than defective part. Call Chantal Customer Service for help, (3) impact damage or breakage, (4) heat discoloration, boiled dry teakettle, or resulting damage to the teakettle and/or other property, or (5) other misuse. Failure to follow the accompanying Use and Care instructions or use of the teakettle in commercial applications will void this warranty.
